‘Archipelago’ is considered a mint-variegated selection of true Monstera adansonii, a species native to tropical regions of Central and South America and the Caribbean. It is not Indonesian mint which is another leaf form and cultivar. Over time, the variegation may develop darker shades of green, adding depth and variation to the foliage. Give it a moss pole or climbing support to encourage larger, more mature leaves.
